This is a very busy hotel. Very very large. I had a nice room but overpriced in for what you get. Internet connection is terrible. The shower was very dirty with stains and i had a cockroach in this room. They have a very nice garden with swimming pool but if you wanted a sunbed, you needed to get up at 6 in the morning. One frontdesk personal was very rude to me. The breakfast was very minimum and looked more like a student mensa. Overal not a hotel i recommend if you look for quietness and efficiency .

This is a very nice Hotel. Pros: Very large and beautiful place. Very clean. Large, beautiful pool area, bowling club, great fitness area, nice pool table lounge. Every amenity you can imagine, store, concierge, bars, restaurants, nice big rooms that are very luxurious. Nice courteous staff, good security. Cons: The place is overall a bit dated and showing its age here and there. Not bad, just a bit. The cleanliness makes up for it. The pool area wasn't used by me but appears to be a territory battle between Chinese and Russian tourists. They are out at 4am staking their claims on the chairs. You can rent a private beach chair across the road on the beach for pennies, so I didn't bother. Overall: a really really nice place for people of all ages with clean facilities, and wonderful staff. I would be happy to return. Very close to all forms of nightlife etc..

This hotel has many positive aspects but also some disturbing flaws.Firstly the location , if you want to be close to the beach and have easy access to the restaurants. / bars / activities etc it is very well placed at the bottom of Soi1. However be warned if your room is at the front of the hotel then you have to accept the fabulous view of the sea and the sunset against the noise of the music bars which do go on till 3 am every night and are very loud . The hotel boasts 2 very good swimming pools and a south facing sun trap lounge area , but again a word of caution - thee are only about 100 beds for a hotel that has over a 100 0 guests , so if you haven’t got your towels down by 7 am you probably won’t get a sunbed ! The hotels common areas , grounds and housekeeping are very good , but the pool area lacks management and supervision with glasses being used around the pool , no litter bins and no daytime lifeguard or staff to keep a watchful eye , this is most apparent as many young children swim unsupervised ( parents ! ) and many guest drink from glass wear on poolside- another concerning aspect of the pool facilities is that non guests come in from the street and use it as there is no mechanism to either stop them or identify them Breakfast is fulfilling and caters mainly for the Asian palette , but plenty to choose from albeit exactly the same every day .The rooms are clean tidy and have all you need , special mention to great showers and water pressures ! The hotel caters mainly for Russian and Chinese clients with the Russians staying long term in the winter and the Chinese using the hotel as a base for short term stays , therefore there is a daily turn around of many many coaches coming and going through out the day and evening . My biggest disappointment is that the hotels Karaoke bar and in house spa facility do not exist , the spa facility is situated on the 3 red floor and is shut down with a lock and chain , when I asked the hotel about this I was informed it has been this way for 2 years , yet they still advertise it as a feature on there website !!!!! - totally unacceptable - there is no in-house entertainment or bar . The gym is adequate but closes at 19.00 so only giving limited use . My main area for concern is that although the staff and friendly and helpful where they can be , the vast majority have very very limited English and therefore can not assist beyond a simple request , there were some safeguarding issues I wished to report but couldn’t as no senior management work in the evening and even then during the day didn’t respond , I’m glad I didn’t need there help with anything serious as I doubt they could of supported me . For a 5 star hotel I would have expected better management and customer service beyond yes sir / hello sir . This is where the hotel lets itself down , I suspect the reason is that the main source of income is from group bookings of Chinese who have there own interpreters and the Russian contingent who also there own reps , there is no support for individual travellers. So to sum up , good location ( don’t take a room at the front if you need your sleep ! ) , great pool ( get up early ) , use gym early morning ! , and don’t have any major problems if you can’t speak the language . The main reason for the dumb down I was led to believe is because they offer great deals for mass bookings and certainly for fill there quota with many guests turning around every day . Oh and if you like ten pin bowling there is a 10 lane facility in the hotel together with a snooker room , amazing ! On balance , the good outweighs the bad but it is not 5 star and needs to be honest about not having the Spa

This is a really nice hotel to stop in. My room was very large but dated but the other room we had was smart. The breakfast I have to so was wonderful you won’t be disappointed with it at all. The pool area is first class with plenty of shade if you need it

Not worthy. *Horrible mouldy smell in hallway/reception. *No change to early check in, so prepare to wait, in pool area - which has NO available seats, thanks to grannies and granpa's waking up in 5 am and put their towels on them, for all day. * We choose this hotel because of cool, large and beautiful pool area, but does it really matter when there is no enough sunbeds and shades? We stayed 5 nights, visited pool only once, there is nothing to do. * Rooms have seen their best days, beds are quite hard. * Basic breakfast, mostly thai options. * Not a 4 star hotel.
